No Shit Baked Potato

I think the men have spoken very clearly! The boys want recipes with potatos. I'm going to start with a straight-up no gimmicks, baked potato.

Alright, you're going to need:
Duh, a potato
Your favorite cheese
1-2 stalks of green onion depending on your preference
Tidbit of butter

Take your potato and stab it full of holes with a fork. Be careful not to stab yourself. Stick that tater in the microwave for 7-8 minutes on a plate. Don't try it in an oven because it takes forever. Unless you're willing to wait 30-45 minutes.

Once your 'tato is done filet it open and make sure its tender. If its not tender then put it in for 1 or 2 more minutes. Stuff it full of the cheese and onion and butter. You may stick it back in the microwave for a couple seconds longer just to make sure the cheese and butter melts. If you're feeling adventurous I have some other things you could put in it.

Other goodies:
Sauteed mushrooms, onions, bell pepper bits or garlic
Cooked and chopped broccoli
Sour cream
Chopped spinach

Most people understimate the nutritional value about potatos. They are high in potassium and vitamin C. They are filling and nutritious and have many of the vitamins and minerals that one needs daily.

Check out Nutrition Data.com. They have extensive information about the nutrition value of foods!
